Despite finishing second to his Mercedes teammate and title rival Lewis Hamilton at the United States Grand Prix, Nico Rosberg gave it his best shot thrashing out Bon Jovi at a Karaoke night among Formula 1 fans and team personnel.
After the race in Austin, where Rosberg saw his championship lead reduced to 26 points, he and his Mercedes crew visited Pete’s Duelling Piano Bar to celebrate the constructors’ championship wrapped up one race earlier in Japan and simply let their hair down.
Rosberg jumped on stage to sing Bon Jovi’s Living on a Prayer – perhaps describing his state of mind as a first F1 world title is tantalising close. Rosberg later posted a snippet of the performance to Twitter.
Sharing the stage with a bespecatled Esteban Ocon, Rosberg also sang along to the Queen classic: We Are The Champions.
So @nico_rosberg knows what @MercedesAMGF1 are!
