Alfonso Celis will be back behind the wheel of Force India’s VJM09 during FP1 during the Austrian Grand Prix weekend.
The 19-year-old Mexican joined Force India as a development driver at the start of this year when it was announced he would tackle seven of the 21 FP1 sessions during the course of the season.
He replaced Sergio Perez in Bahrain and Nico Hulkenberg in Russia, finishing P21 and P22 respectively at the end of his sessions.
Celis, who is a front runner in the Formula V8 Series, will be back in action for Force India at the Red Bull Ring.
