Romain Grosjean has pointed an accusing finger at Lewis Hamilton, the Haas driver claiming that the F1 world champion made a dangerous moves on track during FP1 and in FP2 at Red Bull Ring.
Grosjean explained, “I wasn’t very happy with Lewis’ behaviour on track. He spun, he didn’t put the brakes, he reversed in the middle of the track, and I was coming, so to have avoided I had to spin the car.”
“Then in FP2 again he was doing some quali run and he going straight at Turn 2, coming back and staying in the middle of the track. I had a lot of Lewis around me today, and if it’s the case again on Sunday then it means I’m well positioned!”
Asked if he would confront Hamilton about the incidents, Grosjean said, “If I get the chance, then yeah, because we could have had quite a big crash this morning. It’s not something you want on your first run in FP1.”
There were a number of driving-related dished out on the first day of the Austrian Grand Prix weekend, but no reported investigations of Hamilton’s on track dalliances.
