Toro Rosso preview the Italian Grand Prix, Round 14 of the 2016 Formula 1 World Championship, at Monza.

We’re racing at home and there’s no time to rest! From Spa we go straight to Monza for the last European race of the season and we just can’t wait!

There’s always a special atmosphere thanks to the passionate tifosi and Carlos says that “as you go down into Turn 1 you can see, hear and even smell them!”

He describes it as a “fast” and “special” circuit, and when talking to Daniil about it, they remember racing each other: “Yeah, we did have good fun” says the Russian and adds that “we’ve always shown a lot of respect to each other.”

Both him and Carlos coincide in saying that Turn 11 has lost a lot of its beauty as the run off area used to be gravel and now is tarmac…

“It was much cooler before”, says Daniil, while Carlos adds that “now everyone can go fast through the Parabolica…”

Having said this, Monza will always be Monza and we’re sure we’ll put on a good show! Let’s go racing and…
